DarEmar's Uni-Earth Series
A Project for encouraging intercultural understanding and dialogue

The Uni-Earth series reflects DarEmar's interest in fostering greater appreciation for contemporary European literature and intellectual writings. The series will focus in particular on countries whose literature is not widely known in the Arab World, but is likely to have some resonance due to its particular nature. 

As such, the first activity that will take place within the framework of this project will focus on Dutch literature, and will be issued under the title of the Prince Claus Series in recognition of the immense contributions made by the late Dutch Prince to the field of intercultural dialogue.

The activity will be conducted in cooperation with the Dutch agency Nederlands Literair Produktie - En Vertalingen Fonds, that will help subsidize the translation and production processes. The series  will be officially launched in the Summer of 2004.
